One auction room needs one answer Product engineering A bid screen has one job: show people the same current truth. Here is how I think about that problem in Auctibuy. A quote form is part of the product Service commerce A useful quote form helps a customer explain the job and helps the team know what to do next. A catalogue should help someone choose Interface design More products do not automatically make a better shop. The first screen should help a person find a sensible place to start. Product systems Capability The product layer behind auction rooms, quote tickets, account areas, and operational handoffs.

MUSTAFA KHAN / DIGITAL PRODUCT ENGINEER

I build products that stay useful

I design and build the interfaces behind live auctions, apparel quotes, embroidery production, hospitality supply, and South Asian couture — products where the next decision needs to be easy to see.

01 / Selected work

The interface is
the decision.

Different products. Different kinds of pressure. The common thread is making the next move easier to see.

Context before action

A first-time bidder needs enough item, seller, and room context to act before the clock makes the decision for them.

A polo shopper, a sports team, and a service buyer should not have to decode the same homepage to find their next step.

02 / Capabilities

Start with the
kind of problem.

There is no single “website” shape. The route changes with the business, the customer, and what has to happen next.

01

Live commerce

When the next move has a clock.

The interface has to build enough trust for a person to act in public, in real time, without turning the room into a dashboard.

  1. 01Set the context
  2. 02Keep the live state readable
  3. 03Make the action feel earned

03 / About

I work where the product gets complicated.

About the practice

I work across product structure, interface design, and the code that makes both hold together. The useful work is usually in the middle: naming a service, ordering a catalogue, exposing a price, or deciding what someone needs to know before they ask for a quote.

The featured product stories follow Auctibuy, Liberty Digitizing, Digitizing Depot, Spider Digitizing, Affinity Hospitality UAE, and TY Dress Collection. Further work includes the terminal tools Relay and Gitscape, the Hamwas agency website, Star Tourism, and Global Beauty Verse. Each project has its own stack, audience, and workflow.

04 / The toolkit

The stack follows

  1. 012023 — now

    Work Independent product work

    Product engineering across live brands

Six live products across auctions, apparel, embroidery, hospitality supply, and couture commerce.

The work moves between a real-time auction marketplace, service-heavy apparel catalogues, a production-led embroidery site, a B2B linen and bags manufacturer, and a collection-led fashion shop. Each product changes the vocabulary, hierarchy, and proof a page needs.

  2. 022021 — now

    Work Full-stack practice

    MERN and full-stack application builds

React, Node.js, MongoDB, Laravel, and the decisions that connect a screen to a working workflow.

The implementation work sits close to the product decisions: catalogue models, quote forms, account states, content structure, responsive pages, and the links that let a visitor continue the task they started.
